Hi there neighbors! I was recently asked who did the website. Many people are under the impression the website is created by management. It is not. The website began many years ago before we moved in and Dave Allenbaugh was one of the initial webmasters. When the resident who did it before me moved, I volunteered to take over because I was doing the monthly newsletter and a lot of the information was integrated. For anyone interested in reading about the past, click on the tab Arroyo Bulletins under More.

What qualifies me to do this? I began doing newsletters in the early 90's for a PT company I worked for in Burbank. I also did a monthly newsletter every year during the holidays and I like writing. Later in life, I started a business and was the COO, so I was the communication person.  I have taken one creative writing class in college and that is it for my experience.

This website was created to give information to our community and keep everyone apprised of what is happening in our lovely park.  Since we no longer have a monthly newsletter this is the best way to give information to everyone. If anyone is interested in doing the newsletter, contact Jennifer Mattos.

I am also on the HOA Board, Arroyo Executive Board, CARE Team and bartender for the events with Winnie Mule'. And one of Dave's work wives...hahaha...his wife, Cher, says he has many.

I also have residents who contribute their time and information. Sandy Brunett and Debbie Cameron provide Arroyo Assocation updates and graphic design; Margaret Gannon, HOA updates; Dave Allenbaugh, CARE Team updates; Christie Cockrell, reading recommendations and also our librarian; and Tom McDannold, rain charts. So you see, it does take a village!

My husband Gary and I live in 192, so feel free to wave or say hi if you see us outside.

HOME REPAIR SERVICES FOR SENIORS & THE DISABLED

Damians Ladder is a non profit organization that helps Seniors and the disabled that have lived in their homes in Santa Cruz County for many years and may have limited incomes. Residents are often not able to afford small repairs and updates to their property. This could include anything from fixing a leaky faucet to installing an access ramp. We want to help them stay at home, comfortably and safely for as long as possible.
